Transcender Software
In the past, we have provided the A+ Core Test Prep
software from Transcender. Due to budget constraints, we are now only
providing that software if a student has actually registered for the
exam and has agreed to share his/her exam results with us for
statistical purposes. Please send proof of registration to Greg Tomsho.
COMP-TIA Certification Discounts
Students get a link on their login page on the Cisco
Academy Site that allows them to request the A+ Voucher. That link can
be found in the middle column of their login page (after they login)
towards the bottom under "Career Development" or similar. When they
request the voucher, they will have the opportunity to enter their
Academy's Comp/TIA membership number to receive a larger discount. That
number is: 120565. The retail cost of the exams is $140 for
each; the regular voucher makes it $99. With our Comp/TIA number, the
cost is $65.
Once they have the voucher, (which is just a number),
they need to register for the exam, either on Prometric's web site (www.prometric.com)
or by calling them at 800-776-4276.

certification. You can get a higher discount by providing an "E2C"
number for your academy.
